This orientation will prepare you to be an excellent teacher at Temple University. At the general sessions, you will learn who Temple students are as well as what resources are available to support them. Your teaching concerns will be eased as Gas and Electric Arts brings tough classroom situations to life through role play. Topical breakout sessions will focus on various aspects of teaching, such as motivating and engaging students, facilitating discussions, grading, and more.
Participation for new Temple Teaching Assistants (0-1 semesters) is mandatory. Returning TAs are encouraged to attend. Don't miss this opportunity to network and share ideas with other Temple TAs across the disciplines.
